Background
With 21 partners and 150 staff operating out of their Manchester and Altrincham offices, JMW offers a broad range of legal services to a diverse portfolio of clients. With ambitious plans for the future and a move to purpose built offices pending they had identified a requirement to update their successful yet long standing corporate identity.

Prior to choosing Studio North to manage the project they sought an agency who understood their need to relate to both private and commercial clients alike. Additionally, it was decreed equally important that the chosen agency had the experience to apply the new identity across all media and refresh the whole JMW brand.

Solution
It was initially agreed that a complete overhaul of their corporate identity would be inappropriate and detach themselves too far from their existing client base.

The identity was refreshed with this brief in mind and then developed further to create new brochure, advertising and newsletter templates for individual departments. Colour palettes and imagery were also carefully selected, again tailored to suit the relevant legal service.

The new look website, which is now DDA compliant and fully content managed by JMW staff has been completely rebuilt. With a vastly improved navigation process and quick service router on the home page, the website efficiently directs business and individual services to the potential browser. In addition to the extensive search engine optimisation of the site an integrated e-newsletter campaign is currently being executed.

The end product of this six month project is a subtly improved corporate identity and a vastly improved visual consistency to reflect the company's professionalism and high standards.
