Brand refresh for ATG to celebrate silver anniversary
Background
To coincide with celebrating their 21st year in business, electrical engineering solutions company ATG instructed Studio North to refresh their existing identity and update all communication materials including their corporate brochure and web site. The Warrington based firm service a UK wide customer base including many large blue chip organisations across a range of sectors. They selected Studio North on credentials and a representation of past work over two other agencies.
Solution
With a brief to retain the original ATG icon, Studio North strengthened the company name within the identity lending equal weight to both typeface and icon. This creative treatment ensured continuity for client recognition but was a sufficient progression to modernise their brand and strengthen market position.
The creative treatment was then extended to include their business stationery items, corporate brochure, newsletters, exhibition graphics and web site. The visual brand was developed around the existing red and blue colour palette and the use of industry relevant images within the icon's shape complemented by plenty of clean white space.
The comprehensive web site now provides a dramatic improvement in appearance, navigation and accessibility containing full details of ATG's capabilities, experience and their latest news and projects. A bespoke content management system was also developed to give the client full control over any basic future updates.
The quality end product of this project is a reflection of what was a terrific team effort from client and agency.
