Right now we’re in need of:

Receptionist / Office Administrator

Right OK, we're looking for someone new to get stuck in immediately. Bit of an open mind at the moment in terms of what we're specifically looking for. Maybe an apprentice, maybe an established performer, maybe somewhere in between. I think we need to be convinced by the right sort of personality to be honest.

What we do need is a naturally gifted communicator, someone who is supremely organised yet creative enough to think on their feet and be pro-active in their support of others. We can offer career progression in alternative directions, naturally suited to your individual talent, but we wouldn't see this as a stepping stone towards a design position if that's what you are thinking. And agencies...you lot have had more than enough dough out of me recently so stay well away from this one please.

Send your CV to michael@studionorth.co.uk - BTW don't make it too long & I couldn't care less for cliched generic supporting commentary or pages and pages on your life story. Keeping it short & sweet, just tell me something interesting about yourself and/or something relevant to Studio North.

I'll also probably need to understand what you want to be putting in your back pocket to keep a smile on your face and a drink in your hand on a Saturday night.

Duties will include...

1. To answer the telephone promptly and professionally, putting the call through to the appropriate person or to record and pass on messages when relevant

2. To provide general reception duties including meeting & greeting clients, providing refreshments for visitors and managing goods inward/outward

3. To keep reception and boardroom areas in a presentable manner

4. To file company documentation in an appropriate structure and in line with company standard procedures

5. To provide general administrative support to Finance, Account Management & Production departments.

6. To organize same day and overnight courier dispatches

7. To organize collection and distribution of post

8. To manage company petty cash in line with company procedures and keep receipts and written records of expenditure

9. To organize recycling with external suppliers

10. To manage and maintain stationery & paper supplies
