We are delighted to announce a couple of significant internal promotions for two of our longstanding colleagues at Waulk Mill as well as a senior hire.
Our first employee back in 2003, Gary Butterworth has been promoted to Project Director, taking increased responsibility on leading delivery for many of our clients, as well as management of the projects team. The quintessential ‘unsung hero’, it’s been a pleasure to watch Gary develop his skills and gravitas from those early days as a junior designer.
That creative background means Gary is multi-skilled and as capable building wireframes for a digital build project as he is pulling together a project schedule for an integrated campaign.
At the same time, Sean Booth is now our new Creative Director. The last twelve months has seen Sean produce fantastic brand, campaign and motion creative for new clients such as Red Bull, First Transpennine Express and Oak Furniture Land.
Originally landing at Waulk Mill in 2007 as a Senior Designer, Sean is an exceptionally talented conceptual creative. Having worked much closer with clients and mentored other designers over the past couple of years, this promotion is simply overdue recognition. Sean is now chomping at the bit to cast even more influence over the agency creative output as we embark on our own transformation throughout 2016.
Last but not least, Will Stone has recently joined the agency as Brand Communications Director. Formerly Head of Marketing & Communications at UPM, Will is an experienced and skilled professional who has worked within large organisations providing counsel and strategic support in external communications, employee communications, stakeholder relations and all aspects of marketing. He brings an extra exciting dimension to our service offer helping clients to live and breathe brand from the inside out.
Finally, we are also very close to hiring another two or three new reinforcements across the agency having taken our time to find the right people who fit with our brand vision. Watch this space.
In the meantime, we wish Gary, Sean and Will the very best of luck.Tags: directors, hire, promotion, recruitment
